Located in the serene and picturesque Wentworth Valley, Breathing Green Solutions is a proud Nova Scotia producer of premium recreational cannabis.

Bringing together close to 40 employees from surrounding communities, Breathing Green was honoured to be the first Nova Scotian company to obtain a cannabis growing license and first to receive a sales/distribution license in October 2018.

Led by COO, Joe Sanford, and several founding visionaries, the growing operation took over 5 years to develop on the site of a former Canadian Department of National Defense NORAD base. With top-notch security in place, the high-tech facility now accommodates growing areas for clones, vegetative and flowering rooms, drying and curing, and packaging and storage.

Moreover, our Breathing Green leadership team has deep Maritime family roots and holds extensive business development, sales, marketing, financial and technical experience.

Following strict Health Canada regulations, Breathing Green developed state-of-the-art protocols and practices to ensure worker wellbeing, while producing product of the highest quality.

Designated PurePlantTM technology, our growing operations include advanced environmental and lighting controls as well as a proprietary growing system to monitor plant health and quality, and final product preparation.

Given our focus on top-quality product, and marketed under the SKOSHA brand, Breathing Green continues to please customers of all demographics, and win new ones.

In short, Breathing Green Solutions strives to be a leader in the craft cannabis market by ensuring worker safety and wellness within a positive corporate culture, while producing market-leading product quality and freshness.

“We focus on high-end, high-quality cannabis products for the Nova Scotia market. It’s a testament to our entire team that our reputation for quality is now creating demand across Canada” says Sanford.
